Conscious Uncoupling

See: "Conscious Uncoupling: 5 Steps to Living Happily Even After: How to Break Up in a Whole New Way" by Katherine Woodward Thomas

Sometimes, it's healthier for parents to live separately.  I support couples in the "uncoupling" process.  Uncoupling counseling may be helpful for you if:

  • You are having difficulty navigating new boundaries and both want to remain kind towards one another during this transition
  • You need extra help from a professional in working through the more challenging aspects of a divorce or breakup
  • You want to honor your relationship in a loving way, and find closure in the best way possible for you both

I frequently work with couples during this transition to help make a plan that is in the best interest of the family and the children.
